Mofettes & „Tyliczanka” Springs
Tylicz is a picturesque mountain village at the confluence of the Muszynka, Roztoka and Bradowiec streams. It is renowned for mineral waters, particularly the refreshing iron-rich acidulous spring „Tyliczanka”.
A continental rarity are the local mofettes – natural, cool exhalations of volcanic carbon dioxide (CO2). The Tylicz mofette consists of 11 interconnected rings where effervescent water bubbles with natural carbonation.
Wooden Architecture & Ancient Markets
Once a prominent royal merchant town (Miastko), Tylicz boasts a remarkable architectural heritage, including the UNESCO-worthy wooden Orthodox church of Saints Cosmas and Damian and the 17th-century wooden Catholic church of Saint Peter and Paul.
